HOW WE HELP We serve a 10-town region in mid-coast Maine with programs and services to build community, improve people's body, mind and spirit.
The YMCA is the leading provider of child care and after school care in our region as well as nationally.
We welcome everyone from infants to seniors and have an extensive outreach program called Community Navigation to help local citizens solve whatever problems and issues they are facing: lack of food, housing, mental and physical illnesses, drug and alcohol misuse among others.
The Y also offers a wide-variety of exercise classes and ways for our community to be at its healthiest as well as programs for people with health concerns such as cancer, diabetes, and Parkinson's.
EVERYONE IS WELCOME HERE
We encourage participation. There is a place for everyone. No one is turned away for inability to pay as scholarships are always available.
